Robert Skelton Systems and Control Best Ph.D. Dissertation Award:
Given annually through the Center for Control Systems and Dynamics (CCSD) in honor of Prof. Robert Skelton, the founder of our world-renowned Systems and Control program. For eligibility, the student’s thesis must be focused on controls-related research (in core control topics, robotics, and optimization), with a dissertation advisor in MAE and ECE Departments who is an active member of CCSD. The award is contingent upon a successful defense within the time period of eligibility. A faculty member may submit more than one nomination.
